Make Email Great Again
Email is still the killer app; it's not subject to corporate algorithms, and rapid response to thousands or millions can be out the door within an hour or two. But we're also suffering from a tragedy of the commons; spammy practices, outright scams, and consultants that prioritize fundraising over real engagement. My session will help Netroots attendees:

- Get their program management fundamentals and internal processes right
- Build their opted-in subscriber communities ethically
- Avoid spammy practices & technical problems, and get to inboxes
- Create email content that drives real engagement

This session is intended for people with some familiarity with email list management, and a subscriber community of 10k or more.
